Dean Tang Shiqi, Vice dean Dong Zhaohua and Professor Pang Xun of School of International Studies of PKU met with the senior vice provost of Washington University in St. Louis Vijay Ramani, and the director of the university's China Office Bill Xu on November 18^th, 2025.

Both parties introduced their respective academic majors and research focuses, and expressed their intentions to promote cooperation in terms of faculty and student exchange.

Washington University in St. Louis, abbreviated as WashU, is one of the top 20 universities in the United States. The university was founded in 1853 and there have been 26 Nobel laureates associated with Washington University in St. Louis up to now.
